Abstract
The branch of Craiova of National Sciety of Orthodox Women was consituted in 1916-th and it has founded the Institute of girls and two kinder gardens. The branch members organized yearly a number of cultural-religious, as Ortodox Sunday, different national ans schoolar events. In 1924 and 1931, the General Anssembly and National Sciety of Orthodox Women Congress were organized and coordinated by Craiova branch. The Institute and Kinder gardens of National Sciety of Orthodox Women continued to function in the Second Wolrd War years, even they were occupied, partial or total, by the military authorties.
