Abstract
Photography and cinema changed the way we show art works and our relationship with them. Sculptor Brancusi’s relationship with photography is unknown. The sculptor established a very particular relationship between his work and the photographed images of it. Through the photographs of his sculptures that he himself took, he left us reflected the relationship of each work with space, light and matter and the way he wanted his works were seen and received by the viewer. By photographing his sculptures Brancusi documented his sculptural work and in many cases he created new works of art in the field of photography.
