Abstract
The Romanian Revolution from December 1989 meant a radical change in the political regime, in the social and the economic field, but also a change of mentality in general. Having been used to the oppressive regime the Romanian people suddenly woke up in a state of liberty and democracy which they did not understand and did not know how to manage wisely. The author presents both the Revolution’s causes and the process of deployment and the problem of revolutionary proclamations which had the role of preparing the Romanian people for the Democracy and the Freedom which was built since 1990.
