Abstract
Our approach tries to emphasize the main articulations of the philosophy of ordinary on the level of interwar Romanian intellectual elite. This elite forged to the Nae Ionescu’s School of realism, objectivity and organics; consider the ordinary as an opportunity to revaluate the situation of the human being in the world, in order to achieve the reality of the inner sense. In fact, this is not the apology of dogmatic spirituality, but the pleading to return to the essence of the existence, in order to assure an ontological balance – the Latin word for ordinary (ordinarius) means placed in order. To reconsider the ordinary is for the Romanian intellectual elite the way of living as a specific act. We could say that to philosophy about the ordinary matter is to philosophy about the existing as a modus vivendi.
