Abstract
In this paper we have proposed to highlight and analyse a few initiatives started by Romanian Orthodox Church towards Internal Ministry, Cults and Arts Ministry and other resort ministries, destined to help straighten the moral and social conduct of the population like: keeping the good behaviours of the youth: changing the days for the yearly markets, held on Sundays and national and religious holidays and respecting the Sunday rest etc. To these have been added also the initiatives of the administrative authorities with the purpose of increasing the number of those attending the church for the holy sermons. All had to fix and complete the specific activity done by the priests in the direction of moral reform of the local communities and, in perspective, of the national community.
