Abstract
Starting from the famous epilogue to Immanuel Kant’s Critique of Practical Reason, where the sky appears to be a guide to our moral consciousness, the author of the present article identifies two stances in Kant’s thinking: 1) The sky as an object of his scientific research and 2) The sky as a guide to moral consciousness. The latter introduces in Kant’s thinking the role of meteorology in establishing and crystallizing self-awareness.
