Abstract
Over several centuries, Slavonic was used in Romanian feudal institutions and churches. It is for this reason that the study of Slavonic documents still remains one of the primary sources in researching and understanding the development of our language and society. In this article we intend to submit place names from the Slavic-Romanian documents during the first half of the 17th century, given their importance for both language/toponymy and history.
