Abstract
The involvement of the Orthodox Church in ecumenical movements and external dialogue from the communist period of the Romanian ecclesiastical institution with the other Christian denominations and with the other religions of the world it demonstrates its ability of searching and to find the liberating solutions from outside, in relation to the problems and difficulties caused by the totalitarian regime.
