Abstract
The privations, oppressions and interdictions suffered in the communist period, before the Revolution from 1989, determined Romania to direct its vision naturally towards capitalism. Always following with interest the progress registered by the western cultures and societies, the Romanian society showed that it was “open” and enthusiastic, on addressing the civilisation, the prosperity and the material development, due to the market economy, the Romanians wishing intensively to adopt the principles and the patterns of this system. We could also say that this “transitional process” towards the new economic reality is a lengthy one, and faces serious problems and difficulties, mainly because the bureaucratic and incompetent management.
