Abstract
Throug our approach we have tried to restore the history of some foreign entrepreneurs that distinguished themselves in the commercial scenary of Lipscani street in Craiova. The documents kept in the archives transpose us into a vintage décor that evokes a lot of history, talking about the famous characters of the old trade: Eschenazy, Benvenisty, Nachmansohn, Lewy, Baruch, Segal.
