Abstract
Our article focuses on the most recent interpretations that have been given in the last years to the play Cómo ha de ser el privado, which after a period of bad critics regarding its literary value seems to have been reassessed. Starting with the re-reading of the play, our text aims at unveiling the information that Quevedo might have hidden at first sight from the eyes of a potentially superficial reader.
