Abstract
Few days after the meeting of Central Committee of the Romanian Workers’ Party (15-22 April 1964) it was held a meeting of the military and party leaders from the Romanian Army (Bucharest, 4-6 May 1964). On that occasion, Generals Leontin Sălăjan and Ion Tutoveanu hardly criticized the Soviet interference committed in the Romanian Army and they referred in particular to the nuclear missiles installed by the Soviets in Cuba, in 1962. At the same time, other generals and officers mentioned some military problems recorded in the relations between Romania and the USSR, in 1950-1964 periods.
