Abstract
As a consequence of the most important challenges that the main problems that contemporaneity is dealing with – the exacerbation of nationalism, the racial and ethnic-religious conflicts, globalisation or international terrorism, the concept of national dignity, along with the admission of limitation with regards to the sovereignty of states from
humanitarian reasons, has emerged as a necessity. Taking into account the impact of human dignity on the configuration of international law, the present article analyses the main coordinates of the juridical protection on the national dignity and humanity. For these reasons, it could not be ignored the definition and the incrimination of the facts that constitute crimes against the peace, the incrimination of armed aggression, the incrimination of war-favouring propaganda.
