Abstract
Starting from G. Călinescu’s ingenious intuition about Tudor Vladimirescu’s “literary work”, the author analyzes Eminescu’s considerations regarding the revolutionary leader of 1821 and the revolutionary character of his movement, Tudor Arghezi, the philosopher and memorialist Petre Pandrea, about Tudor’s action to establish the legal order in the capital, as well as Marin Sorescu’s views on this exponential hero, a prophet who clothed the shirt of death.
